Exporail – A must visit for railfans young and old

About 4 years ago, on a family trip to Montreal, we found this place called Exporail. Little did we know at the time, that this museum would soon turn into a regular visit. During this time, the Canada Science and Technology Museum was down for extensive renovations and for us it had been one of the closest spots to see a railway archive up close.

We were overwhelmed by Exporail’s collection and subsequently became museum members, making sure we came back multiple times with family and friends.

Still members to this day, we are excited about Exporail’s recent announcement concerning changes coming to the museum in the 2019 season. We highly recommend Exporail, not only for its ellaborate collection, but also for its superb, bilingual and passionate staff.
